English Writing Test

The English Writing Test is an optional module of the International English Test, designed to assess your writing proficiency.

To access this module, you must have Writing exam credit. The Writing test will assess your ability to communicate effectively in written English, focusing on grammar, vocabulary, coherence, and the ability to structure well-formed sentences and paragraphs.

For the Writing test, you will need a computer with a keyboard or a smartphone and a modern web browser such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or similar. The test environment allows you to focus on crafting thoughtful and structured written responses within a set time limit.

Ensure that your device is properly equipped and your software is updated to avoid any disruptions during the test.

The English Writing Test lasts approximately 10 minutes and is the final section of the Writing exam.

The Writing exam includes two tasks. One focuses on written interaction (such as forms, notes, brief messages, or emails), while the other emphasizes written production (such as reports or short essays).

Each task has a specific minimum word count, ranging from 100 to 120 words, depending on the task type and proficiency level. Your responses are saved and assessed using a combination of AI-powered rating systems and trained assessors.

Results are provided within 2 days after completing the exam.
