Online English Speaking Assessment

The English speaking assessment is an optional component of the International English Test proficiency exam. Please complete the Core level test before moving on to the Speaking assessment.

To access this module, you must have S/W exam credit, which includes both Speaking and Writing evaluations.

Ensure you have a computer equipped with either an internal or external microphone, and use a modern web browser (such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or similar).

Before starting the English Speaking assessment, you will have the opportunity to test and adjust your microphone and other software and hardware settings.

How the Speaking Test Works

The English Speaking test lasts approximately 10 minutes. During this time, you will record responses to eight general conversational questions in English.

No specific preparation is required prior to the test; regular practice in English conversation is sufficient. Your audio recordings are stored and evaluated by our trained assessors based on four criteria: vocabulary range, accuracy, fluency, and coherence.

You will receive your results within 7 business days after completing the test.
